ROLE SUMMARY The Head  Security Operations is the corporate-level executive responsible for end-to-end governance and delivery of NIS's security operations across its national footprint. The incumbent will lead a multi-tiered hierarchy of regional managers and supervisors  owning service quality, client retention, workforce capability, and operational modernisation. This role demands the strategic authority of a senior Armed Forces leader, translated into large-scale civilian enterprise operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operations & Delivery  Own operational delivery; ensure all contracts are delivered within SLAs and quality benchmarks.  Run pan India operations framework with periodic reporting, escalation protocols and performance accountability at every level.  Own OTIF in security services delivery across all client sites  Review deployment standards, incident status and client dissatisfaction events. Client Management  Senior client interface for Tier-1 accounts; lead QBRs.  Convert escalations into trust-building resolutions; ensure documented closure on all critical client concerns.  Brief BD leadership on operational intelligence for renewals and expansions. Incident & Crisis Management  Institutionalise post-incident reviews  root cause, corrective action, protocol revision, retraining. Manpower Planning  Lead strategic manpower planning  forecasting demand, aligning deployment to contract obligations.  Build a national supervisory talent pipeline; reduce over-reliance on external recruitment for first-line leadership. Multi-Location Leadership  Lead pan-India operations across states, regions, and branches to meet dynamic client requirements.  Conduct structured field visits to branches and client sites  minimum 5-10 days/month.  Guide Regional Managers through measurable & clear instructions. Training & Capability  Establish continuous training architecture for all levels.  Facilitate competency assessments as a measurable operational metric. Technology & Transformation  Lead adoption of IVMS, CCTV analytics, patrol apps, e-rostering, and ERP-driven dashboards.  Evaluate AI-enabled surveillance, biometric access, and threat detection for service portfolio integration.  Position NIS as a security solutions partner, not a manpower provider alone. SOP & Cost Optimisation  Own the national SOP library; ensure annual review, update, and field-level cascade with verified comprehension.
